Work Schedule :

This is a part-time, 75% FTE position. Scheduled hours are 7 : 45am - 3 : 45pm on Saturdays, 8 : 00am - 4 : 00pm on Sundays, and 14 hours made up when available during the week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Patient Transporter - Senior to :

• Function as a lead worker and technical expert for a team that provides transportation services to inpatients who need to be moved to and from nursing units and various therapy / laboratory areas throughout the University Hospital.
• Coordinate the movement of patient transport equipment (wheelchairs and stretchers).
• Ensure the team understands and practices all relevant safety policies and procedures and provides for patient comfort and safety during transport.
• Address phone and on-line patient transport requests and coordinates their team's response via the Patient Transport information system.
