SOX Compliance Consultant

A company is looking for a SOX Compliance Consultant to lead compliance initiatives in IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SOX readiness activities for new and existing applications

Act as a second line of defense, ensuring compliance alignment with product owners and auditors

Assess IT controls and support documentation to ensure audit readiness for SOX compliance

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in SOX IT compliance initiatives

Strong understanding of the second line of defense in compliance and risk management

Experience with both in-house systems and SaaS products

Organized with strong project management skills

Certifications such as CPA, CISA, CRISC, or CIA are a plus
