Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Shipping / Receiving Clerk will assist with all shipping and receiving procedures while providing excellent customer service. In this operational position, you will be responsible for planning and executing the required process steps through the WMS systems and YMS system, generating all required shipment documents, and providing accurate verbal and email communications to external / internal customers and process partners.

Major Responsibilities :
Control the flow of work within the facility to meet receiving and departure times while maintaining accuracyMust have a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment while being detail orientedMust be able to prioritize and adjust to immediate workload requirementsCommunicate effectively to the team, customer, and other process partners via radio, phone, and emailTroubleshoot any associate needs with system issues and / or equipment problemsAssist with daily / weekly operational reportsAbility to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilitiesWork as a member of a TEAM, accomplish team goals and meet warehouse metricsMaintain professionalism with management and co-workersOther projects and tasks assigned by supervisorQualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent requiredGeneral office experience preferredCustomer service experience preferredComputer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook requiredWMS experience preferredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobWork the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screeningThe ability to train on first shift for 2-3 weeks is highly preferred.Physical Requirements :
