job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform CT scans in a fast-paced, busy emergency department serving patients of all ages. Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety standards. Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records using Epic and PACS systems. Minimum of 5 years of CT Tech experience required. ARRT CT certification and BLS certification required. Travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted. CT registration is mandatory if ARRT certified. Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (Friday to Sunday, 18 : 00 - 06 : 30).
\n\nJob Description\n
The CT Tech will perform routine CT examinations, including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging. The position requires expertise in an adult acute care setting, the ability to prepare and administer contrast media, and starting peripheral IVs.
