An Associate Attorney with 3+ years' personal injury experience is needed for a hybrid position in Austin. The Associate Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, handling matters from intake through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully managing personal injury cases, excellent communication skills, and courtroom experience.

Associate Attorney Responsibilities :

  • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death cases.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and legal research to develop case strategies.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including depositions, motion hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding their case, including assessing liability, damages, and potential outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and experts to prepare for trial and other case milestones.
  • Maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Stay informed on relevant personal injury laws, case precedents, and court rulings to deliver up-to-date legal counsel.

Associate Attorney Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar. Additional admission in AZ and / or NM is a plus.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
