At Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center , we’re seeking a skilled and dependable Floor Technician to take pride in maintaining clean, polished, and safe flooring throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will be experienced in floor care and willing to support housekeeping operations as needed.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and buff hard surface floors throughout the facility
  • Operate floor care equipment safely and correctly (buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, etc.)
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all flooring in resident rooms, hallways, and common areas
  • Follow proper procedures for handling chemicals and cleaning supplies
  • Assist the housekeeping team with general cleaning tasks as needed
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of floor care services and supply usage
  • Respond promptly to work orders or cleaning needs from facility leadership

    • Who We’re Looking For :

  • Experience with floor care (stripping, waxing, buffing) is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with using and maintaining floor care equipment
  • Willingness to assist with housekeeping tasks when needed
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Must be dependable with reliable transportation and attendance
  • Positive attitude and a team-player mindset
