Director of Engineering Operations

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering Operations to scale and enhance the engineering organization's planning and execution processes.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate key engineering forums and ensure effective decision-making and follow-through

Implement and manage programs for patents, standards tracking, bug bounty, and open source compliance

Drive engineering health metrics, reporting, and financial oversight, including vendor management and budget forecasting

Required Qualifications

12+ years in engineering operations, program management, or related leadership roles within software / SaaS

Deep familiarity with engineering processes, incident management, and change management

Experience in developing data-driven dashboards and reports related to engineering metrics

Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management

Experience with regulated environments and audits (e.g., HITRUST, SOC 2, HIPAA)
