American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology / X-Ray Technologist for evening shifts with 2+ years of recent acute care experience and active RRT-R, BLS (AHA), and state license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an X-Ray unit with occasional assignments to multiple units or locations within the organization as staffing needs ariseLevel I and II trauma experience is preferredAdult patient population in an acute care hospital settingFive 8-hour evening shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PMIncludes holiday shift coverage and occasional weekend on-call responsibilitiesMay be required to adjust shift hours based on operational needsFirst to float among staff and may have shifts reassigned as neededPass / fail telemetry exam must be successfully completed prior to start, with strict passing criteria and limited attemptsOrientation schedules vary and typically last about one weekExpect to float to other units or locations within the organization as needed during the assignmentHoliday and weekend shift coverage is required per contract and unit policyFirst-time travelers may be considered on certain unitsScrub or dress code requirements are unit specific and will be communicated prior to startCompetency renewal for telemetry is required per calendarParking onsite requires a permit; alternative transportation options are also available\n \n Requirements\n
Active RRT-R and state license required if applicable, with license in hand at the time of considerationBLS certification through the American Heart Association is requiredMinimum of 2 years of recent acute care radiology or cardiology experience in the specialty requiredLevel I and II trauma experience preferredTraveler’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the assigned work site locationLocals are not accepted\n Benefits\n
