job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior within the premises. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and / or local authorities as needed to address security-related matters. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Monday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Friday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Saturday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Sunday 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
