PLC Programmer / SCADA Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location : Remote (with frequent travels to Juno Beach, FL, USA)

Contract Duration : 12 months

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Programmer / SCADA Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy projects. In this role, you will drive seamless integration, programming, and commissioning of advanced PLC and SCADA systems that power the future of clean energy. Your expertise will ensure operational excellence and support groundbreaking energy solutions across large-scale renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming & Development

• Expert-level PLC programming for BESS and solar projects using Schneider M340 / M580 platforms
• Develop, modify, and optimize control logic for utility-scale energy storage systems
• Create and maintain standardized PLC code libraries and templates
• Implement advanced control algorithms for hybrid PV-BESS operations

SCADA Integration & Communications
