Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Firmware and Embedded design and development to sit in Chester, CT. This role involves developing, integrating and supporting hardware and embedded firmware for new product development and sustaining engineering projects. The engineer will work in a Product Design environment, perform hands-on embedded firmware / hardware development, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring designs from concept to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and support hardware and embedded firmware for new product development and sustaining engineering projects.
• Lead hands-on embedded software / hardware development and cross-functional collaboration (schematics, proof of concept, and product design from intake to manufacturing).
• Work in an Agile environment and contribute to product design cycles from concept through manufacturing.
• Act as the Design Engineer for the allocated product project, ensuring documentation and design practices meet requirements.
