Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking to make a significant impact at a dynamic, growing company? QAD is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead financial operations, optimize processes, and provide critical insights that drive executive decision-making.
Responsibilities :
- Accounting Excellence & Compliance : Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring strict adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards. You maintain robust financial systems and a culture of precision.
- Strategic Financial Reporting : Create and deliver detailed financial and management reportsweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annuallythat equip our executives with actionable insights for sound, financial decision-making.
- Asset Protection & Process Optimization : Develop and refine internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets. Identify and eliminate inefficiencies to optimize operational performance.
- Tax Strategy & Coordination : Prepare the property, sales, business license, and excise tax returns and work closely with external CPAs to prepare income tax returns, effectively minimizing income tax.
Qualifications :
Maintain complete confidentiality of company, owner, and employee information.Demonstrate competence with financial software and technology. (QuickBooks experience preferred)Understand and adhere to financial and accounting standards and regulations.Exhibit exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.Possess strong leadership skills with proven collaboration abilities.Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Bring 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance (management experience is a plus).CMA / CPA certification preferred.Possess manufacturing and cost accounting expertise, including establishing standard costs, identifying variances, and budgeting.Understand corporate and business structures.Benefits :
