Education and Experience Requirement

Bachelor's degree, science or engineering preferred. Five years minimum supervisory experience. Ten years manufacturing environment and with AS9100 Quality Management System experience.

Skills Required

• Leadership to effectively manage customer requirements and expectations as well as department personnel.
• Demonstrated teamwork to work collaboratively with all departments to effectively accomplish company goals in the areas of quality, delivery, finance, and continuous improvement.
• Broad in-depth knowledge of quality control, quality assurance and quality management systems, especially AS 9100.
• Problem-solving skills to assist in root cause analysis and solution identification. Experience in resolving internal and external quality issues.
• Quality audit skills.
• Advanced computer and writing skills. Skilled in the use of Word and Excel.
• Ability to read, understand and explain schematics, blueprints and / or technical manuals.
• Effective communication skills. Direct customers and supplier interaction experience desired.

Minimum Job Requirements

Level of Responsibility and Authority

Appointed as Management Representative for the AS9100 Quality Management System for the Company. Responsible to ensure the quality of product being shipped and authorized to hold shipments if quality is suspect. Given organizational freedom and unrestricted access to top management in order to resolve quality management issues. Responsible for referring any information or new inquiries relating to statutory and regulatory requirements to the attention of top management. Appoints personnel authorized to disposition nonconforming material based on position, experience and knowledge of product / process.
