Overview
Counsels, plans, coordinates, and provides other services as needed for clients in the outpatient modality of the Area Substance Abuse Council.
Responsibilities
- Manages and maintains a caseload of outpatient clients.
- Initiates, implements, and reviews a treatment plan for all assigned clients.
- Coordinates all service delivery for assigned clients.
- Provides individual counseling to all assigned clients.
- Facilitates group counseling for selected clients.
- Coordinates client involvement with other agencies.
- Attends training as needed and directed; provides education and information to other community and general public.
- Provides urinalysis monitoring on an as-needed basis; maintains contact with referring agency or person; and conducts intake and assessments on a regular basis.
