Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Java Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise to drive project success and collaborate effectively with business teams, while working in a hybrid role during day shifts.

Rate Range : $48 / hour to $50 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Java Engineer job responsibilities include :

Minimum 6+ years of IT experience in Java 8, J2EE, and related technologies

Hands-on experience with AWS, DevOps, Spring Boot, and microservices

Proficiency in Advanced SQL, Spring Core, Spring JPA, GIT, Maven, and CI / CD (Jenkins)

Strong communication skills, experience with Agile processes, and ability to work effectively within a global team.

Desired Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

6+ years of experience in Java development

Strong hands-on experience with AWS and DevOps

Proficiency in Java Spring Boot, Microservices, and Advanced SQL.

Nice to Have : Java / J2EE

Pay Details : $48.00 to $50.00 per hour
