Job Description :

Performs direct patient care procedures and related tasks; assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs and I & O and documents, prepares chart packs, and assists with medical procedures as delegated by nursing staff.

Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for specific procedures and provide manual assistance as needed.

Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system immediately to determine patients' needs and assures needs are addressed in a timely manner. Accesses additional assistance as indicated to meet patient needs.

Performs and documents appropriate procedures and data according to hospital policy and procedure.

Performs hygienic care including bathing, shaving, oral, and hair.

Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system immediately to determine patients' needs. Assures needs are met when beyond scope.

Requirements :

• High School / GED
• SRNA or successful completions of first year of Nursing program with validation of clinical rotation.
• Must obtain BLS within 6 months
