As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Tech PT in CENTRAL VALLEY, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support a welcoming environment that reflects our company's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 10 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 PM

Wed 10 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Support access control measures by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or clients to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Assist with emergency response activities according to site guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
