Job Opportunity : Neuro-Ophthalmologist in Grand Rapids, MI Join a leading healthcare facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a full-time Neuro-Ophthalmologist. The Hauenstein Neurosciences Team is recognized for its comprehensive approach to neurology and is the area's most established Neuroscience Program. You will work in a state-of-the-art environment dedicated to treating a wide range of nervous system conditions, all while fostering a compassionate focus on healing. Key Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological evaluations and medical assessments of diseases affecting visual pathways and eye movement control. Diagnose and treat visual problems linked to nervous system conditions. Address unexplained or sudden vision loss in patients. Perform Neuro-Ophthalmologic tests, including visual acuity, visual field, pupillary reactivity, color perception, ocular alignment, and optical coherence tomography. Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab specialists. Participate in General Neurology visits as practice builds. Qualifications : Board Eligible (must be board certified within 2 years) or Board Certified in Ophthalmology. Valid Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain). Clean malpractice history. Current DEA certification (or willingness to obtain). BLS certification (or willingness to obtain). Acceptable to H1B visa candidates; J1 support is not available.
