Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU Prep & Recovery role at an outpatient surgery center, requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in an Outpatient Surgery Center in the Prep and Recovery (PACU) area
  • Role focuses on the care of patients before and after surgical procedures
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week schedule
  • No nights, holidays, weekends, or on-call shifts required
  • Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to surgical patients in the prep and recovery area
  • Work within a supportive outpatient surgery team environment
  • Holiday, weekend, and night coverage is not required for this role
  • Candidates must meet the distance requirement to be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active NH or compact RN license required and must remain active throughout the assignment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years is required
  • No local candidates within a 75-mile radius
