Lidar Analyst (Lafayette)

Title : Lidar Analyst

Location : Lafayette, LA

Schedule : Hybrid - Monday - Wednesday in Office and Thursday - Friday at Home

Pay : $18.00 / Hour and up

NO C2C and NO THIRD PARTIES

Key Responsibilities :

Delivery Excellence :

• Process lidar data according to project-specific requirements : boresight, TerraScan macro development, manual editing / QC, and generation of derived products.
• Perform independent quality review of other staff members' work.
• Conduct final quality reviews to verify conformance to specifications and requirements.
• Understand factors affecting production, such as time allotted, quality and quantity metrics, and project specifications.
• Recognize and solve problems in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule, using independent judgment to determine courses of action.
• Assist the technical / team lead or department supervisor in scheduling and expediting work processes.
• Sharing Information :
• Report to the technical / team lead or department supervisor on project status and any matters that may negatively affect product quality.
• Offer technical support and input for the team, management, peers, and clients regarding procedures and specifications.
• Provide written and oral reports on technical and professional issues as needed.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement :
• Exercise creativity in identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and increase efficiency through data-driven insights and process improvements.
• Recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures based on data analysis findings.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in analytical tools and techniques; recommend tools or methods that could enhance analytical capabilities.
• Assist in creating and enforcing information security standards, policies and procedures.
