Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work 10-hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Must have catheterization lab and experience (RCIS certification not accepted)

    • \n

  • Work in 3 Cath / EP / Hybrid / Structural Heart rooms

    • \n

  • 3 staff members per room with patient ratio of 3 per case

    • \n

  • Required to work 1 weekend per month and 1 night call per week (3 : 30 PM start)

    • \n

  • Night shift available on-call only

    • \n

  • Work with GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab / Cardiolab equipment

    • \n

  • Use Meditech EMR system

    • \n

  • Perform typical procedures including left / right heart caths, angioplasty / stent, IVUS, ICE, atherectomy

    • \n

  • Handle atrial fib ablations, Micra ICDs, pacemaker, lead extraction procedures

    • \n

  • Assist with structural heart procedures : TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, LAAC (Watchman) PFO / ASD

    • \n

  • Must have cath lab circulating experience for RN role or scrub experience for Rad Tech role

    • \n

  • Mac Lab / Cardiolab experience preferred

    • \n

  • Required certifications : Registered Nurse License for Circulator role; Registered Radiologic Technologist License, Fluoroscopy & ARRT license

    • \n

  • May float to Pre / Post care area called Cardiovascular Observation Unit

    • \n

  • May wear own scrubs or use blue hospital scrubs

    • \n

  • Must enjoy working hard as part of a team with upbeat / positive attitude
