Overview
Lead physical therapy programs designed specifically for children with autism. Use your expertise in motor development, sensory-motor integration, posture, and mobility to help children build functional skills that promote participation in school, play, and daily life.
Collaborate closely with BCBAs, OTs, SLPs, families, and teachers to ensure therapy is engaging, individualized, and supportive of each child’s overall treatment plan. Our operations team manages scheduling, billing, and compliance paperwork so you can focus fully on clinical care.
Description
Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, deliver direct interventions, and document measurable progress for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Address gross motor development, gait, balance, coordination, motor planning, strength, and participation in functional activities. Educate caregivers and train staff on strategies to generalize skills across environments.
