Do nurses read strips? They have a monitor tech but the RN's must be able to read & interpret strips. They are also the central monitor station for the whole hospital. Drips Must be able to titrate drips : Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, & Heparin. Insulin is only set-rate. No sedation gtts. Vents Bipap, Cpap, High Flow
