Physical Therapist Role $2,300-$2,400 per week

Location : Alamosa, Colorado (Split days of the week between Alamosa Physical Therapy & Edward M. Kennedy Physical Therapy)

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : 90 Days (with potential extension)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team on a locum tenens basis. This role will provide coverage at both Alamosa Physical Therapy and Edward M. Kennedy Physical Therapy (EMKPT) . At EMKPT, you will serve as the sole PT, supported by a tech and front desk staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative, community-focused environment while working independently when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients across all age groups with a wide range of conditions.
  • Manage a caseload averaging 10 patients per day
  • Travel between Alamosa PT and EMKPT as scheduled.
  • Document patient care using NextGen EMR
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain).
  • At least 1-2 years of outpatient experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently at EMKPT.
  • Experience with patients of all ages.
  • Preferred : Certifications in Dry Needling or Cupping, but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
