RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

Work on 36-bed neurosciences unit on 6th floor A Tower

Patient ratios of 5 : 1 or 6 : 1 stretch on day shift, 7 : 1 stretch on night shift

Day shift staffing : 1 Charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC

Night shift staffing : 1 Charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC

Every other weekend schedule required

Float to other medical surgical floors as needed

Work with standard medical surgical equipment

Use Cerner EMR system

Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion and IV starts

Required certifications : ACLS, NIH

Neuroscience experience preferred

Must be outgoing and self-motivated

Dress code : Navy blue scrubs

New staff reference book provided at start of contract
