Practice setting : high volume inpatient heart center Number of Operating Rooms : 30 Schedule : variable- 8,10,12 hour shifts On call : The call rotation is 1 : 5 with first call every eighth night, no second call. Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular, there is no OB or trauma. Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries. Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day : Cardiac Cases per day- 6-8 cases Open to H-1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers Not accepting Locums candidates ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Anesthesia - REQUIRED ECHO Board Certified and / or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained (to be complete prior to start) - REQUIRED Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained - HIGHLY PREFERRED NY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED BLS, ACLS, PALS (by time of start) - REQUIRED Certification Requirements ACLS BLS (AHA) Board Certified Board Eligible PALS State License Requirements New York Additional License Requirements Echo Board Certified and / or Cardiac Fellowship-Trained
