Intern, Data Analytics

What You Can Expect

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will play a vital role in reducing energy consumption across campus buildings. This hands-on internship involves various data analytics projects, including data acquisition, analysis, and supporting the ENGIE C3ntinel energy data platform. You will gain valuable experience in data analytics focused on energy conservation initiatives. The internship duration is from January 5, 2026, to May 29, 2026, with part-time hours ranging from 15-20 per week.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to impactful sustainability projects.
  • Investigate and correct data errors for improved accuracy.
  • Fulfill various data requests.
  • Utilize C3ntinel for measurement and verification of energy conservation measures.
  • Conduct analyses on energy-saving measures before and after implementation.

You will report to the Data Analyst II.

What You'll Bring :

  • Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student understanding at The Ohio State University.
  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework or experience in data analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with RStudio or Jupyter Notebook.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI for data visualization.
  • Experience handling large data sets.
  • Understanding of coding languages such as Python.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy and timely work delivery.
  • Skillful in managing multiple assignments with high precision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive attitude and demonstrated initiative.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Additional Details :

  • Additional hours / weeks may be available based on business needs.
  • Interns must be enrolled and in good standing during the internship semester.
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite located at The Ohio State University.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Compliance with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies is mandatory.
  • Compensation :

    Hourly Range : $21.00 to $28.00 USD hourly.

    This range represents the average expected pay for qualified candidates, and actual salary may vary depending on factors such as experience, education, and location.
