What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the Quality partner for North America Ventures manufacturing and repacker locations to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Manage day-to-day Quality strategy execution in partnership with manufacturing and repacking partners
- Implement Quality initiatives and communicate performance metrics to achieve manufacturing goals
- Develop partnerships with North America Venture Manufacturers, conducting regular reviews and continuous improvement planning
- Drive adherence to quality control systems and audit manufacturing plans for new products
What is Required (Qualifications)
B.S. degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related sciencesMinimum of 3+ years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Food Safety, and / or R&DFundamental understanding of sanitation, hygienic design, pest control, HACCP, and food safety principlesProficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively in a food manufacturing environmentHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience partnering with external partners in a quality assurance capacityDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate associatesExperience in a food manufacturing environmentStrong results orientation with a focus on achieving short and long-term goalsA proactive approach with self-motivation and the ability to work independentlySalary and Benefits
