Position Summary
Concordia University Wisconsin launched its Engineering programs at the Mequon WI campus with the first intake of students into B.S. Industrial Engineering and B.S. Chemical Engineering programs in Fall 2024. It has added B.S. Mechanical Engineering program in Fall 2025. At this time, the department of Engineering and Mathematics, housed in the School of Arts and Sciences, seeks a full-time faculty in Mechanical Engineering to join in August 2026 and complement a dynamic and growing team of passionate educators across the disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentorship, deliver courses at both lower and upper levels of curriculum, and particularly, in the areas of mechanics, strength of materials, system dynamics, machine design, instrumentation, and controls. This full-time faculty position reports to the Chair of Engineering who reports to the Dean in the School of Arts and Sciences.
The faculty position will primarily involve teaching, research and scholarship, student assessment and mentoring of students for academic success and career enhancement. We seek a candidate who supports positive and engaging classroom, collaborative academic community, personal responsibility and servant leadership. The successful candidate will be a member of a Christian congregation, and will be passionate about student learning and advancing the Mechanical Engineering profession through research and scholarship.

Compensation & Benefits
