Our company is looking for an individual who can excel with the dual aspects of strategy and hands on execution. The ideal candidate is a tactical and results-driven seasoned expert to serve as Vice President of Sales . This position is BOTH a strategic partner to the Executive Team collaborating to create value-added goals and objectives for long term growth; and is HIGHLY involved in the day to day activities within all levels of the Sales Team as one who is not just a delegator but a performer.

Our ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis, trends and reporting; strong people and leadership skills, and several years of experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software. In this role, you will not only develop sales strategies for the present and future but you will be consistently engaged with the Sales Team and supporting departments with the daily experiences and efforts.

Role Overview

In this role you would be responsible for creating the company's sales vision and executable sales plan. Build and mentor high-performing sales teams and align departmental strategies to support all aspects of our business objectives. The VP of Sales will act as a bridge between the Executive Team and the front line sales operations to ensure all efforts support company growth, client acquisition, enhancing Vendor / OEM relationships, and Market Expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Sales Plan and Sales strategies to drive revenue targets on an annual basis
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic direction and sales tactics.
  • Maintain key relationships with clients, Vendor / OEM partners, and stakeholders to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct Sales forecasting and pipeline management utilizing Salesforce
  • Perform Data analysis and dashboard reporting (Salesforce & Power BI)
  • Implement effective sales processes and methodologies to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operational teams to align sales objectives with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting and forecasts to Executive leadership on sales performance and growth initiatives to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Implement best practices in sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required :

  • 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel 50% or more
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive growth that achieves sales targets and enhances market penetration
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and processes, with the ability to implement best practices
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset and focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Adaptable, innovative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Preferred :

  • Experience in the Capital Equipment (x-ray, ultrasound, medical supplies) sector
  • Advanced degree in business, management, or related field
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales performance analytics
  • Strong data analysis skills to drive informed decision-making
  • Experience with digital sales strategies and tools, including social selling and online lead generation
