Provides programming through a safe motivational learning environment in order to help residents acquire skills to recognize and manage emotions, develop care and concern for themselves and other, to make responsible decisions, establish healthy relationships, and handle challenging situations effectively by utilizing experiential activities and methods to create avenues for growth. With the intention of these skills being applied to all other areas of the residents’ lives.
Also assists in the operation and supervision of the Dippel Activity Center, to include all established activity areas (Pool, Challenge Course, climbing wall, etc…) and events. With emphasis in developing, coordinating & facilitating the After School Program, Campus and Guest groups. Directly responsible in planning and leading Summer Program for the campus.
Requirements
1. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
3. Experience in direct childcare is preferred.
4. Experience in a leadership role is required.
5. The ability to effectively teach and facilitate is required.
6. Must have substantial experience in project management, planning, and execution.
7. Lifeguard certification preferred or able to achieve within 6 months.
8. Wilderness First Aid certification preferred.
9. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
10. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
11. Must be at least 21 years of age.

13. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
14. Must be available for travel as needed.
15. Proficiency in general outdoor and recreational equipment is required.
Proficiency in understanding and evaluating individual health and fitness levels.
