We are seeking a skilled Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Indiana. The assignment begins on 01 / 03 / 2026, with a flexible work schedule of Monday to Friday. The CAA will work in a 2 : 1 or 3 : 1 care team model, providing comprehensive anesthesia services for a wide range of procedures including cardiac, complete ortho, complex vascular, head and spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic hospital setting using the Cerner EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Work effectively in a 2 : 1 or 3 : 1 care team model
  • Manage anesthesia for cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurological, obstetric, pediatric, and thoracic surgeries
  • Perform regional anesthesia techniques as needed
  • Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and safety
  • Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards

Additional Information :

  • Must be comfortable with all listed procedures except burn, complex pediatrics, and transplant
  • Indiana state medical license required
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
