Home Health Aide (HHA)

As a vital member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide essential personal care and support to clients in their own homes. Your role will involve assisting clients with daily activities, observing and reporting changes in their condition, and performing straightforward procedures as delegated under the policies of Interim HealthCare and relevant regulations.

Your Responsibilities as a Home Health Aide :

  • Provide compassionate personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation.
  • Support clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Administer medication reminders, document client conditions, and communicate any concerns to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and accessible home environment for your clients.
  • Engage clients in enjoyable activities such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies to enhance their well-being.

    • What You Need to Succeed :

  • A minimum of 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course / certificate.
  • Two positive professional references.
