About the Opportunity

We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to provide consistent locum or permanent coverage at a busy community emergency department located just outside Fort Myers. This ED sees about 26,000 patient visits annually and has 11 dedicated ED beds. The location offers a great blend of suburban living with easy access to Florida s Gulf Coast beaches and amenities.

Position Details

Annual ED Volume : 26,000 visits

ED Beds : 11

Shifts :

Physicians : 7 AM 7 PM and 7 PM 7 AM

APPs :

Mon Wed : 9 AM 7 PM & 11 AM 11 PM

Thu Sun : 9 AM 10 PM

EMR : Epic

Employment Type : Independent Contractor (1099)

Compensation

$275 per hour

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM / AOBEM)

FP or IM physicians with at least 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience will be considered

Active Florida medical license preferred
