Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with required specialty certifications and night shift availability.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes acute emergency cases
  • Positions require night shifts (4x12) with flexible start times (17 : 00–05 : 30 or 19 : 00–07 : 30)
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Floating required, including between main campus and nearby campuses within 10–15 miles
  • Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required
  • May float to support nursing teams in high-risk respiratory or COVID units
  • First to float among staff as determined by facility needs
  • Required completion of orientation modules (18–24 hours total), self-reported
  • Maximum of 14 days requested time off allowed; no exceptions after offer
  • Not eligible for facility employee incentives or benefits

  • Active Ohio or compact RN license required before contract begins
  • Minimum of 1.5 years recent Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Current certifications : ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI / AVADE / CalmEveryStorm
  • EKG / Dysrhythmia exam completion required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
  • No prior license action accepted
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
