Overview

We have a Senior HPC Storage Engineer role with a top global trading firm based in Chicago (onsite role). In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s high-performance infrastructure that fuels cutting-edge quantitative research and trading.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and optimization of Lustre-based storage systems, tackling I / O bottlenecks at scale while automating solutions with Python or Bash to streamline performance and reliability.
Contribute to hands-on building and tuning of storage systems that power data-intensive strategies.

Qualifications

Experience with Lustre and high-performance storage environments.

Strong knowledge of the Linux I / O stack.

Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.

Ability to work onsite in Chicago, Illinois.
