Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others? As an Occupational Therapy Assistant , you will play a vital role in supporting our clients on their journey to better health. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist with client-related activities and perform delegated procedures that align with your education and training.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will :

  • Administer treatment programs in accordance with the Plan of Care.
  • Teach activities of daily living to enhance client independence.
  • Provide training on the proper use of prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment.
  • Observe, record, and report client conditions, reactions, and responses to your supervisor.
  • Document services in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Respect patients’ rights and cultural beliefs while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Adhere to all agency policies, including HIPAA regulations.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications :

  • Current licensure in the State of Florida.
  • CPR certification and various relevant certificates (OSHA, HIV / AIDS, HIPAA, Alzheimer's, Medical Errors, Domestic Violence).
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health challenges.
  • A valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 points in the last 3 years).
  • This role is patient-facing and requires participation in Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

    Work Schedule and Compensation

    Scheduled Weekly Hours : 1 hour

    Pay Range : $58,400 - $80,000 per year. This range reflects a good faith estimate for full-time employment and may vary based on location and individual qualifications.
