Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 public school in Elgin, IL is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contracted role spanning the full academic school year. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being and academic success of students within a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support students social-emotional and behavioral development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to implementation of plans and strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and legal requirements

Qualifications :

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist license or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice
