Are you an expert in managing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) parts? Are you skilled in ERP and Planning? If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Permanent Maintenance Parts Manager (MRO) in our dynamic packaging manufacturing company. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our production lines and the optimal functioning of our equipment. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Maintenance Parts Manager (MRO), your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Managing the MRO inventory, ensuring availability of essential parts and minimizing downtime due to equipment failure.
2. Developing and implementing MRO strategies and procedures to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
3. Liaising with suppliers and negotiating contracts to secure the best prices and delivery terms for MRO parts.
4. Using ERP systems to track inventory levels, forecast demand, and plan for future needs.
5. Working closely with the maintenance team to understand their needs and ensure they have the parts they need when they need them.
6. Regularly reviewing and updating MRO procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Providing regular reports to senior management on MRO inventory levels, costs, and performance against targets.
8. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all aspects of MRO management.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Parts Manager (MRO) role will have :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in MRO management in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in the use of ERP systems for inventory management and planning.
3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about MRO management.
5. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
6. Excellent communication and team management skills.
7. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
