Position Overview :

As a Traveling OSP Inspector , you will be responsible for overseeing fiber optic cable construction to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to engineering plans. In this role, you will collaborate closely with construction crews, project managers, and permitting agencies to support the successful buildout of fiber infrastructure across the U.S. This position is not located in Lubbock, TX. The projects are located across the lower US states to include TX, NM, AZ, and others.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring daily construction activities to ensure fiber placement (aerial, buried, underground) follows engineering prints and customer specifications.
• Verifying cable sequential numbers, handhole / pedestal installation accuracy, documenting GPS coordinates, and as-built data.
• Preparing and submitting daily reports and project documentation.
• Resolving design and staking sheet problems that arise during construction and, when necessary, interpreting company guidelines for specific applications.
• Communicating with landowners, permitting agencies, and internal departments as needed.
• Supporting schedule coordination, workflow monitoring, and cost tracking efforts.
