Position Summary
The CAD Operator is responsible for drawing mechanical tooling and machine components for the corrugated box industry. Typical activities include drawing / designing and reverse engineering parts and managing part numbers and attributes within a prescribed system.
Responsibilities
- Develop solid models and CAD drawings.
- Follow company standards and minimums for critical dimensions and tolerances.
- Assist Sales and Marketing teams with renderings and layouts.
- Measure sample parts for reverse engineering received from customers.
- Maintain part memos and attributes in archive.
- Revise and update drawings.
