Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience demonstrating a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to our medical staff and ensuring the best possible experience for our patients.

Duties

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.

Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and brief H&P.

Inform patient on lab and imaging results.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including coding for insurance purposes, and obtaining prior authorizations.

Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries.

Qualifications

Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.

1 year Medical Assistant experience is required.

Familiarity with coding practices for billing purposes is preferred.
