TeamHealth is excited to offer a full-time position for a dedicated emergency medicine (EM) physician at our state-of-the-art emergency department in Fallon, Nevada. Our ED underwent significant renovations in late 2018, doubling in size to enhance patient privacy, reduce wait times, and provide improved room accommodations.   • Facility : 16-bed emergency department
  • Volume : approximately 18,000 visits annually

Staffing

  • Full physician coverage
  • 12 hours of physician assistant coverage daily
  • Admission rate : 8-10%
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : Cerner
  • Shift length : 12-hour shifts

    • Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine or board certified or board eligible in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with a minimum of 2 years of EM experience

    • Certifications Required

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
