job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBed Size : 260–280 | Daily Census : ~250–260 Environment : Highly progressive, acute, and critical care respiratory practice Scrub Color : Pewter Parking : Free on-site Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Critical Care General Inpatient Respiratory Care Must be prepared for NICU coverage as needed (NRP required) Provide respiratory support in critical care, NICU, and inpatient settings Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment and ventilators Perform patient assessments, document in EPIC , and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Participate in emergency response and code situations Float within the hospital and ED as needed (no floating to other facilities) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required CRT not accepted South Dakota RCP License (must be active prior to start; 30-day processing via SDBMOE.gov) BLS & ACLS required NRP required if NICU coverage included Associate’s Degree minimum Critical Care & General Respiratory Care Ventilators : Draeger V500, Savina 300, 3100A Oscillator, Servo-I MRI, Hamilton C1 Devices : ResMed APAP / CPAP / Bi-Level, Airvo2, Cough Assist, Incourage Vest, IPV, Praxair iNO Charting : EPIC (required), Omnicell 24 / 7 support from Charge RT and Respiratory Clinical Specialist Leadership : Supervisor, Manager, and Director onsite Weekend Rotation : Every other On-Call : Possible, depending on facility assignment Home Health Call : Every other week (business + after-hours coverage) Holiday : Required if within contract period Time Off : Up to 7 days (must extend contract if full week off)

Shift : 3x12 Rotating (Days / Evenings / Nights | 12hr / 6hr possibilities)
Job Summary :
Join a busy, fast-paced Respiratory Care Department in Rapid City, SD, providing high-acuity care across Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Critical Care settings. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RRT to expand skills in a Level II trauma environment, working with advanced ventilator technologies and a collaborative, 24 / 7 supported team.
