Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details Location : Brownwood, TX 76801 (Texas healthcare jobs) Facility Setting : Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Employment Type : Travel Contract (13 weeks) Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 - 17 : 00) On-Call : 12-15 days / month (self-scheduled) Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics Estimated Weekly Salary : $2260–$2430 CT / Rad Tech Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a cardiac cath lab or related radiology service line Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification Active state license (if ARRT) BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications Proficiency in left / right heart catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, device placement, and renal cases Previous travel healthcare experience preferred Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities Perform cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions / change-outs, peripheral interventions, and select interventional radiology (IR) cases Conduct left and right heart catheterizations, stent placements, thrombolysis / thrombectomy, and EKG lead placements Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled Complete orientation modules during onboarding Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols and safety standards Experience the charm of Brownwood, Texas—renowned for its friendly community, scenic landscapes, and vibrant local culture.
