What You'll Do

As a Senior Solutions Delivery Manager, your key area of responsibility will be driving product initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, from conception to release, while remaining accountable for the timely delivery of all product milestones. You will need to work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and multi-disciplinary teams (Hardware, Firmware, D&A, Software).

To be successful in this role, you will be a strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to foster a productive and resilient team environment in the face of challenges. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and make well-judged decisions.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Drive product initiatives throughout the product lifecycle from conception to release, remaining accountable for ensuring timely delivery of all product milestones.
• Define the project scope, goals, and deliverables. Create and manage project timelines / schedules to ensure the team delivers successful products within the desired timelines.
• Oversee and support multiple complex projects and product initiatives, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams (Hardware, Firmware, D&A, Software) at Geotab to ensure effective dialogue, vision alignment, and accountability for required work / deliverables.
• Develop strategic plans to manage and optimize the project delivery process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives while factoring in other projects within the team.
• Provide guidance, as required, to junior team members, with their project, tactics and skills.
• Foster a productive, focused, and resilient team environment in the face of challenges, ambiguity, change, or strenuous demands.
• Establish and maintain project deliverables, timelines, and milestone updates for sponsors and key stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on all project-related aspects.
• Analyze project issues, develop solutions, anticipate potential problems, and proactively address them.
• Demonstrate the ability to formulate cohesive recommendations regarding delivery approach after consultation with key stakeholder groups on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies, and other implementation constraints.
• Perform post-mortem reviews post-product delivery or as required within the project delivery process, leveraging insights for continuous improvement.
• Drive project communication and reporting; take responsibility for project tracking and analysis. Communicate vital information to the project team and broader product teams.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Lead in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to enhance the team's capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
