Job Summary :

Opal Rose is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide high quality, non-medical support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have an active HHA certification (or be currently enrolled in an approved training program), a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for helping others maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support safe mobility, transfers, and positioning
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medications
  • Run errands and accompany clients to appointments as needed
  • Offer emotional support, companionship, and conversation
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor

Qualifications :

  • Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or currently enrolled in an approved HHA training course
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Prior experience in home care or healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of basic nutrition, home safety, and infection control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and assist with mobility as needed
  • Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient
  • Comfortable around small pets
