Laboratory Technician Chemical Services Department

Akron Rubber Development Laboratory, Inc., an industry-leading testing laboratory for rubber, plastic and latex is looking to fill the position of Laboratory Technician for our Chemical Services Department.

Required Capabilities :

• Performs lab work as assigned from Supervisory Personnel
• Responsible for project testing and computer reporting
• Work well in a group environment
• Familiar with laboratory apparatus, hand tools and some power tools
• Works directly under Supervisor, closely with other technicians
• May represent group in Multi-group projects
• Energetic team player
• Help cultivate a positive work environment
• Attention to detail

Education / Preferred Experience :

High School Diploma or Equivalent work experience knowledge; Associates Degree in Chemistry preferred.
