Job Summary

Klober Engineering is looking for an experienced engineer to join our team. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general civil engineering tasks supporting various project types.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Preparation of due diligence / site analysis;
  • Preparing engineering or technical computations and preparing design solutions;
  • Preparation of conceptual / schematic site plans including layout, grading and drainage plans, earthwork calculations, stormwater management, and utility plans;
  • Preparation of construction documents including demolition plans, layout plans, erosion control plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management, utilities, site details, transportation improvements, and project cost estimates / analysis, etc.;
  • Preparation of reports;
  • Field data collection and characterization;
  • Observation of construction or site work.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A BS or MS in Civil Engineering;
  • EIT Certification required, PE licensed preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering;
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Carlson Civil, or Civil 3D and hydraulic design software required;
  • Well organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
  • Candidate will have good communication skills, both written, oral and listening, and good interpersonal skills as well as ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environment.
