Human Resource Consultant - School Of Medicine

This individual contributor is primarily responsible for providing cross-functional support in the development and deployment of strategies, programs, policies, and procedures, conducting human resources (HR) support activities, and assisting in the implementation of organizational change efforts within the Kaiser Permanent Bernard J. Tyson School Of Medicine. This position performs employee relations activities, leads HR investigation efforts, supports reporting of employee information and external benchmarks, and supports HR compliance. The HR Consultant provides versatile support in a variety of activities to meet departmental goals and objectives.

Essential responsibilities include :

• Providing daily consultation to all employee levels with human resources expertise in various HR specialties.
• Pursuing self-development and effective relationships with others by proactively providing resources, information, advice, and expertise.
• Completing work assignments by applying up-to-date expertise in HR to generate creative solutions.
• Serving as a point of contact and supporting the development and deployment of strategies, programs, policies, and procedures.
• Performing employee relations activities by conducting research and providing recommendations on employment-related regulations.
• Conducting and / or partnering on HR investigation efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Supporting reporting of the schools employee information and external benchmarks.
• Supporting HR compliance by staying abreast of regulatory changes.
